With the advent of high-speed cameras and the increasing frame rate and size of the data streams they produce, users are challenged to take full advantage of the potential value and detail within the higher temporal frequency data they can now capture. Analysis of this data is tedious and manual, and the management of its storage is a continual burden for most TEM lab environments.
Protochips’ new AXON HFRTMworkflow module unlocks this high frame rate data in the elegant, powerful AXON StudioTMinterface where it is automatically aligned and synchronized in a fully indexed database along with all native and calculated metadata from the connected tools in the experiment. Now you have the full story – all moments of the experiment recorded in a fluid timeline with the full experiential history of your work and, finally, at any frequency of temporal imaging resolution at which your new camera is capable of operating. You’ll be able to review standard frequency image streams or metadata parameters to identify areas of the experiment that should contain valuable high-speed information and then promote just those areas of high frame rate images into the actionable dataset, so you only address and save the data that matters.

AXON Synchronicity
AXON Synchronicity 10.7.3 brings improved synchronization of electrochemistry data as an independent data stream, allowing full data resolution regardless of image update rate. This full resolution data can be plotted in AXON Studio giving a deeper understanding of your experiment at all points.
AXON Studio
AXON Studio 10.7.3 now offers a Direct Import function for Gatan *.dm4 files allowing the user to open images and in situ image sequences in Studio that were previously collected by DigitalMicrograph® . These images will be embedded with extended metadata and now be managed and analyzed by the indexed power of Studio.
To improve accessibility and make updates more efficient, AXON Studio will now be available directly on the Microsoft Apps Store. Downloading Studio and keeping your software up to date will now be easier than ever.
