Our Second Webinar On In Situ TEM Sample Prep is Tuesday November 7th:
Practical Aspects of Planning, Preparing, and Executing In Situ Gas Phase TEM
Part 2 of our webinar series focused on sample preparation for in situ TEM is already coming up on Tuesday the 7thof November with Savannah Turner from the University of Utrecht. In this webinar series, Savannah Turner will cover the practical information needed to take a gas cell experiment from an idea on paper to a working experiment. Come learn more about in situ electron microscopy preparation in this series!
Webinar Series: Sample Preparation for In Situ TEM
Come join us to learn more about sample preparation for in situ experiments inside the TEM! Making your experiment successful all starts off with the preparation of a sample for the microscope. In traditional TEM the (powder) sample is usually suspended in liquid and then drop-casted onto a TEM grid. For in situ microscopy, there are a lot more steps to be taken into consideration. During this webinar series we will explore how to optimize sample preparation for liquid, gas, heating and biasing experiments in the microscope, including tips and tricks to prepare FIB samples.
Join the experienced Protochips community of researchers as they share insight on what makes a successful experiment as well as several examples of integrating in situ for TEM.
The first webinar is in three weeks on October the 19th and they will continue through the autumn and winter 2023.
